So…what IS barre?

Welcome to Boogie Down, the most dynamic fitness and dance studio in the Halton region!

Located in Burlington, Ontario, we offer a variety of fitness and dance programming including several barre sequences.  At Boogie Down, our barre classes are probably not like anything you’ve ever tried before!  What can you expect in a barre class?

Often thought as a ballerina’s workout, people are often intimidated by the idea of a barre.  Will I have to put my leg over my head?  Will I have to DANCE? No!

We’ve taken the primary principles and benefits of working with the barre and added our signature twists, creating one of the most exciting, dynamic and effective workouts possible – guaranteed.

You can expect a workout that focuses on tremendous low body strength, building deep core power and improving posture.  Our barre classes will make you feel energized, strong and lean.
